MINNEAPOLIS, Minn - The 2017-2018 North Central University men's basketball team kicked off the season with a non-conference matchup with Nebraska Wesleyan in Clark Danielson Gymnasium Friday night. Despite shooting 48.3 percent (29-for-60) from the field and 28.6 percent (6-for-21) from three point range en route to an 84 point offensive showing the Rams were unable to keep pace with NWU as they dropped the game 122-84.
The Rams had four players in double figures with Marcus Wynn leading the way with 19 points on the evening. C.J. Lewis added 16 points to go along with 11 points from Roy Mack and 10 points for Jared High. Marcus Wynn went 3-for-5 from three point range. Lewis shot fifty-percent from the field going 6-for-12 on the evening. As a whole the Rams shot 57.1 percent from the free throw line (20-for-35).
