DULUTH, Minn - The North Central University men's basketball team traveled to Duluth to take on St.Scholastica in an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference game on Wednesday night. The Saints (4-5, 2-1) topped the Rams 99-63. NCU (3-6, 1-2) shot 30.5 percent from the field (18-for-59) while the College of St.Scholastica shot 54.3 percent while shooting 38-for-70.
NCU was led by Jared High as he recorded 16 points going 5-for-13 from the field and 3-for-5 from behind the arc. High added seven rebounds to go along with one steal. Senior Joel Cline recorded his fourth double-double game this season as he totaled 14 points and 11 rebounds in the game against St.Scholastica. Cline went 9-for-11 from the free-throw line to bring his free throw shooting on the year to 74.3 percent. CJ Lewis added 10 points while dishing out two assists on the evening. Lewis shot a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line. Jaxson Kavanagh added seven points while coming off the bench and logging thirteen minutes in the game.
The Rams will have a short break until their next competition as they will host Crown College on Saturday December 16th in another UMAC contest. The game is scheduled for a 3:00 p.m. tip in Clark Danielson Gymnasium. Live statistics and video feed can be found on ncurams.com.
