  • North Central found themselves in a defensive battle on Wednesday evening in their first UMAC competition of the season. Neither team was able to come away with many opportunities throughout the contest. Each team had a couple opportunities throughout the first 45 minutes of play, but neither were able to come away with a goal. The second period opened up with the same defensive mentality. The Rams had a huge opportunity to come away with points in the 66th minute when senior, Noah Ramsby, was able to connect on with a corner kick but his header attempt drilled the post.  The game remained scoreless until the 80th minute when the Rams committed a costly foul that set the Vikings up for a penalty kick.
