Rams Fall to Knights In First UMAC Contest of Season

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - North Central University women's basketball played host to Martin Luther College on Wednesday night in Clark Danielson gymnasium for an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference contest. NCU (2-3, 0-1) fell to MLC (3-6, 1-0) by a score of 83-52. NCU shot 27.6 percent from the field going 16-for-58 on the night while Martin Luther shot 37.3 percent (28-for-75) from the field on the evening.

The Rams were paced by senior Lizzy Swanson as she scored 18 points going 7-for-16 from the field while going 2-for-5 from behind the arc. Colleen Honn added 15 points in support of Swanson as she went 4-for-5 from the field while shooting 7-for-9 from the free throw line.

NCU will be back in action on Saturday at home as they take on Northwestern-St.Paul in a UMAC contest slated to begin at 5:00 p.m. in Clark Danielson gymnasium in downtown Minneapolis.
