Rams Winning Streak Snapped Against Minnesota-Morris

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn - The North Central University women's basketball team came into Saturday's matchup against Minnesota-Morris riding a four game winning streak. Despite a well rounded effort the Rams were stopped by the Cougars by a score of 79-66. NCU shot 40 percent from the field (20-for-50) as Minnesota-Morris shot 41.2 percent (21-for-51).

NCU was led offensively by Bethany Shield as she scored a team high 14 points on the night while going 5-for-10 from the field and 4-for-6 from three point range. Senior Lizzy Swanson added 10 points after being honored for senior day festivities before the game. Swanson shot 3-for-8 from the field and 2-for-5 from behind the arc. Colleen Honn added nine points and five rebounds while Ellee Laws contributed seven points and nine rebounds on the evening.
