Women's Golf Equals Best UMAC Finish

ALEXANDRIA, Minn.-- Women's Golf wrapped up their fall season on Saturday in the third round of the 2017 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Championship. The team earned a seventh place finish overall to equal their best performance in program history.

Junior Rebekah Winkel (Kansas City, Mo./Oak Park) was the Rams top player in all three rounds at Alexadria Golf Club, finishing 28th overall. Senior Amanda Roth (Appleton, Wis./Neenah) was next in 34th after posting the Rams second best scores all three days.

Senior Abbey Erzberger (Wauwatosa, Wis./Christian Heritage) was the third player for NCU, finishing 35th. Freshman Carolyn Williamson (Zion, Ill./Christian Life) was the final scorer for NCU ending up 38th overall.

The College of St. Scholastica (Duluth, Minn.) claimed the team title and with it, the automatic berth in the NCAA Division III National Tournament. Paulina Dejamco of Crown College (St. Bonifacius, Minn.) was the individual champion.
