MINNEAPOLIS - North Central Women's Soccer (3-2, 0-1 UMAC) fell, 5-0, on Wednesday afternoon to the College of St. Scholastica Saints (1-3-1, 1-0 UMAC). The game was tied 0-0 at halftime before the Saints offense scored five goals in the final 45 minutes of play to secure the win. The Rams offense couldn't captialize on the three shots Scholastica defense allowed. The Saints outshot the Rams, 17-3, and held the advantage on corner kicks, 10-1.
Despite a 0-0 first 45 minutes of play the Saints and the Rams both had their chances. However, both teams couldn't find the back of the net. Scholastica would eventually get on the scoreboard in the second half of play and 50th minute on a goal from Rachel Dixon. The Saints scored four more goals in a ten minute span. North Central would find life in the last few minutes of play earning a corner kick only to have time expire shortly after the kick.
