SUPERIOR, Wis. - North Central Women's Soccer (5-9, 2-8 UMAC) fell, 4-1, to The University of Wisconsin-Superior Yellowjackets (4-11-1, 3-6-1 UMAC) on a rainy Saturday afternoon on the road. In the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) match North Central outshot the Yellowjackets, 15-12 and on shots on goal, 8-7, but couldn't convert for the win.
The Rams and Yellowjackets were scoreless for the first 40 minutes of the game before the Yellowjackets converted in the 40th minute for the 1-0 lead. Less than a minute later Superior doubled the lead at 2-0. In the 45th minute the Rams setup for a corner kick which came into the box and fell to the feet of Cheyenne Brown (Pinetop, Ariz./Blue Ridge) for her second goal of the season in a Rams uniform. However, in the second half the Yellowjackets outshot the Rams and held the advantage on corner kicks resulting in two more goals for Superior and the 4-1 win on their home turf.
