WATERTOWN, Wis. - North Central University was back in action on Thursday in Watertown, Wisconsin, where they suffered a 1-6 loss to the Sabercats of Maranatha Baptist.
- The Rams offense was shutdown throughout the first half only tallying 4 shots in the first 45 minutes.
- The Sabercats scored in the first 18 seconds and never looked back throughout the contest.
- It did not take long for Marantha to score the first goal of the game on Thursday afternoon. The Sabercats were able to score within the first 20 seconds of the game and added another in the 8th minute of the first half. The Rams were held scoreless in the first period, which left them trailing headed into the last 45 minutes. Maranatha was able to add three more goals to start the half to give them a five goal lead. Sophomore, Anna Hartwig, netted her first goal of the season in the 76th minute to end the scoring drought for the Rams. The Sabercats would add one more goal before the final whistle to hand the Rams a 1-6 defeat.
