MORRIS, Minn.-- A challenging season for North Central University Women's Tennis wrapped up on Wednesday with a 9-0 road loss to the University of Minnesota-Morris. The Rams finished their season 0-10 on the year including dropping all ten Upper Midwest Athletic Conference matches in 2013.
North Central was defeated in straight sets in three of their singles matches and two of three doubles matches. Freshman Jamie High (Buffalo, Minn./Buffalo) had the best run in singles play losing 6-2, 6-4 in the number six slot. Freshman Sarah Trickey (Waseca, Minn./Waseca) and senior Bethany Bostron (Spicer, Minn./Bostron Academy) were defeated 8-1 in number two doubles.
The Rams will return four of their top six players from 2013 and should be set to improve their overall record in 2014.
