Rams Fall to Vikings

MANKATO, Minn - North Central fell in three sets against Bethany Lutheran College in three sets by scores of 25-16, 25-18, and 25-20 in Mankato on Wednesday night in a Upper Midwest Athletic Conference matchup on the campus of Bethany Lutheran.  

All three sets were hard fought as the Rams kept pace with the Vikings throughout. BLC recorded 44 kills in total as they were led by Megan Rutt with 13 kills and Rachel Sorensen with 8 kills. Jasmine Carlson dished out 33 assists for the Vikings offense. 

North Central was led by senior Katie Strand who recorded 8 kills. Strand added one service ace to go along with her .467 kill percentage. Emma Middendorf and Bethany Wollman added four kills a piece. Grace Haseltine dished out 14 assists to pace the Rams attack. Maddie Stocker added 13 digs to hold down the back row for the Rams.

NCU will be back in action on Friday October, 13th for a 7:00 p.m. matchup against Crown College in UMAC play before hosting a non-conference triangular at home on Saturday the 14th against Macalester College and Emmaus Bible College in Clark Danielson Gymnasium on the campus of North Central University.
