St. Paul, MN – The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) released this year's list of cross country award winners. The top 16 runners at the UMAC Championship were named to the All-Conference Team with the top eight finishers recognized as First Team and the next eight recognized as Second Team. The remaining awards are nominated and voted on by the conference head coaches. Junior
Garrett Converse earned UMAC Second Team All-Conference honors for his 14th place finish at last weekend's conference championship meet in Winthrop, MN.

Garrett Converse (Jr. | Lexington, NE) was awarded Second Team All-Conference in his junior season for the Rams. The team captain raced his way to a new personal best 8k mark of 28:23.5 last Saturday. Converse led the way in all 6 meets NCU competed in this fall. The junior will race at the 2024 NCCAA Men's Cross Country National Championship held in Warsaw, Indiana on Friday, November 15th.
Colton Hagen (Fr. | Carroll, IA) earned the UMAC Sportsmanship Award in his first season as a Ram. Hagen set his collegiate PR in the 8k race at the UMAC Championships this past weekend with a time of 31:51.7 to place 44th overall.
Anna Russell (Sr. | Woodbury, MN) was awarded the UMAC Sportsmanship Award in her final season running for NCU. The senior ran in three meets this fall, racing a season-best time at the conference meet with a 6k of 36:01.3.
