Tyler Collins joined the NCU Esports program as a co-director in the fall of 2022, and was then named Esports Director in the fall of 2023. Collins attended North Central University, graduating in 2018 with a double major in Pastoral Studies and American Sign Language/English Interpreting.
In the years to follow, he would coach gymnastics with Awakening Dance and Gymnastics based out of Plymouth, Minnesota. At the Awakening, his area of focus was technique and foundations for acrobatics.
In 2021, he began working at St. Louis Park High School, where he would coach the school's Valorant Esports team. During his time at St. Louis Park, the Valorant program would take 2nd and 4th in two different state tournaments involving over 30 teams.
