Mike Knipe enters his first season has head coach of the men's and women's cross country for North Central University.
In addition to his coaching experience, Knipe has collected a variety of coaching experiences. He has been head coach for women's and men's track field for two seasons and assistant of the men's basketball team for three seasons. Before coming and coaching at NCU, he has served in many different areas in Black River Falls, WI, for the sports of football, men's basketball, and women's basketball. Knipe also coached many all-conference athletes with the Black River Falls women's basketball team. Knipe also played basketball at Trinity Bible College.
At an academic standpoint, Mike Knipe is also done with his Master of Arts in Sport Industry Performance from Georgetown University. He anticipates to graduate from this program in December of 2020. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from North Central University. He also serves in the United Army Reserve and is the director of athletic communications here at North Central University.
Knipe lives in Minneapolis, MN with his wife Mallory and his son, Kyrie. He loves spending time with his family and staying active.Â
