MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-- North Central University Women's Volleyball closed out a challenging season with 3-0 home loss to the University of Minnesota-Morris on Saturday afternoon. The Rams could not stay with the Cougars one night after NCU claimed an exciting fifth set win over Crown College.

NCU fell behind 25-7 after set one and were never able to make it close in a strong victory for Morris. The Cougars jumped out 9-2 in the second set on the way to a 25-15 win. The third set saw NCU get to within 10-7 before Morris pulled away for a 25-12 victory to close out the match. 

Senior Mariah Simonson (Zumbrota, Minn./Zumbrota-Mazzepa) and freshman Jamie High (Buffalo, Minn.) each recorded 4 kills in the match. Sophomore Veronica Parks (Lakeville, Minn./Apple Valley) had 15 digs.

The Rams completed their season with a 2-25 mark overall and 1-13 mark Upper Midwest Athletic Conference play.
