SUPERIOR, Wis.-- North Central University Women's Soccer traveled to the University of Wisconsin-Superior for its final non-confernce match of the season on Wednesday afternoon. The Rams lost a narrow 1-0 match to the Yellowjackets.
The Yellowjackets got a goal in the 39th minute and that would stand as the winner for UW-Superior.
Senior goalkeeper Noelle Stordock (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) made eight saves for NCU.
NCU was outshot 25-7 in the match.
North Central will be back in action on Friday at home when they host Northwestern College (St. Paul, Minn.) at 2 p.m. at Coon Rapids Soccer Complex. The Rams and Eagles will face off again on Saturday with the second match being played in St. Paul. The Saturday rematch will kickoff at 2:30 p.m.
Both matches are part of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference schedule for each team.
