Box Score ST. PAUL, Minn.-- North Central University Volleyball made the short trip across the Twin Cities for its final non-conference game of the season at Hamline University on Wednesday night. The Pipers swept NCU 3-0 in a match that took just 50 minutes.
The Rams found themselves down 17-3 in the first set and never rebounded in a loss to the Pipers of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. NCU was defeated 25-5, 25-14 and 25-3 at Hutton Arena.
Freshman Jamie High (Buffalo, Minn./Buffalo) led the Rams attack with three kills and also recorded six digs and a solo block. Sophomore Veronica Parks (Lakeville, Minn./Apple Valley) recorded eight digs.
North Central will return to action on Friday with a 7 p.m. match at UMAC opponent Crown College (St. Bonifacius, Minn.). Saturday the Rams will travel to to the University of Minnesota-Morris (Morris, Minn.) for an 11 a.m. match.
