Women's Soccer Schedule Set for NCCAA National Tournament

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-- North Central Women's Soccer will open the NCCAA National Tournament next Wednesday as the fifth seed. This will be the fifth straight year the Rams have qualified for the national tournament and look to make a run at the program's first national championship.

The Rams will open play on Wednesday, November 7 with a pool play match verses national top seed Clearwater Christian College (Clearwater, Fla.) at 5 p.m. Clearwater is the NCCAA South Region champion and earned a 15-2-0 record on the season. 

North Central will finish pool play with a match verses fourth seed Maranatha Baptist Bible College (Watertown, Wis.) at 5 p.m. on Friday, November 9. Maranatha is the NCCAA Mid-west Region champion and earned an 8-12-0 record on the season. 

The tournament will wrap up with playoff games on Saturday, November 10. The tournament is divided into a pair of three team pools. The third place teams from each pool will play in the national fifth place game at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The two pool play runners up will face off in the national third place game at 12:15 p.m. 

The 2012 NCCAA Division II National Championship game will feature the winner from each pool in a 3 p.m. final on Saturday afternoon. All tournament games will be played at the Austin-Tinsdall Soccer Complex in Kissimmee, Florida.
