Box Score MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-- North Central University will hit the road this afternoon for a trip to Ankeny, Iowa and a match up with Faith Baptist Bible College. Saturday the Rams return home to host Wheaton College in their final game before Christmas break. It will be the second match-up between Faith Baptist and NCU this season, while the Rams will be taking on Wheaton for the first time in program history.
North Central (5-2, 0-0) defeated Faith Baptist (1-8) last Saturday by an 83-63 final count. The Rams scorched the nets with a shooting percentage over 57 percent on the afternoon. Four NCU players reached double figures in the contest including senior Nathan Roeder (Hudson, Wis./Hudson) who led the Rams with 16 points on 7-11 shooting. Junior Bryce Burkman (Winsted, Minn./Maple Grove) recorded 15 points and 7 rebounds and junior Jordan Harrell (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove) also added 15 points. Senior Dylan McKneely (Baton Rouge, La./Broadmoor) scored 11.

Saturday the Rams will have a tall task awaiting them when they return home to CLC Gymnasium. Wheaton College (Wheaton, Ill.) will come into the Twin Cities for the weekend to play a Friday match-up with Northwestern College (St. Paul, Minn.) before taking on NCU on Saturday afternoon. The Thunder are 9-0 on the season and are currently ranked ninth in the D3Hoops.com NCAA Division III national poll.
