Minneapolis, Minn - North Central faced off against Northland College Friday afternoon in Coon Rapids and 110 minutes was not enough time to decide a winner as the game ended in a 1-1 draw. 

North Central (1-9-2, 0-8-1) was less than 15 minutes away from earning its first Upper Midwest Athletic Conference victory against Northland but a late Lumberjacks goal in the 76th minute tied the score at 1-1 and the game would go on to end that way after two scoreless overtime periods. 

The Rams goal in the 9th minute was a beauty as Nick Wiese (Bloomington, Ill/Bloomington) chipped the ball over the defense and Christian Stepaniak (Woodbury, Minn/Maranatha Christian) ran on to it and beat the keeper by drilling the ball in the upper left corner. 

Northcentral is back in action Saturday afternoon as they play host to The College of St. Scholastica. Kick-off is set for 2:15pm.
