NEW ULM, Minn.-- Women's Soccer started off slow and after an own-goal never got going in tough road loss on Friday afternoon. North Central suffered a 7-0 loss to Martin Luther College and will still be looking for their first victory in conference play when they get back to work on Saturday
North Central knocked in an own goal in the 11th minute and the Knights added goals in the 12th, 17th and 34th minute to take an authorative 4-0 lead at halftime. MLC built an 20-3 shot advantage in the first 45 minutes.
Martin Luther added goals in the 56th, 70th and 74th minute to equal the final scoreline. The Knights ended the day with a 33-5 shot advantage.
North Central will be back in action at Noon tomorrow with a road match at Bethany Lutheran College (Mankato, Minn.) in another Upper Midwest Athletic Conference game. NCU is still looking for their first league win of the year and lost 3-1 to BLC in their first meeting on September 20.
