Minneapolis, Minn -- Women's soccer traveled to St. Bonifacius Friday afternoon to face Crown College and were defeated 5-1. Crown jumped on North Central early and never looked back.

North Central (2-9-0, 0-5-0) is still looking for that first conference win after falling to Crown (3-5-1, 1-3-1). The Storm got on the board in the 9th minute and would add on four more first half goals and take a 5-0 lead into the half.

The Rams were able to keep Crown off the board in the second half, but were only able to add one goal of their own. That goal came in the 71st minute when Shelby Norman (Winstead, Minn/Watertown-Mayer) was able to beat the keeper off of a Karlee Hoover (Estero, Fla/Estero) assist.

North Central is back in action Saturday afternoon in another UMAC matchup against University of Minnesota Morris. Kick-off is set for 2:15 pm at Coon Rapids Soccer Complex.
