MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-- North Central was back in action for the second part of a weekend double-header on Saturday afternoon. The University of Minnesota-Morris defeated the Rams 8-0 to send North Central to an 0-6 record in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference.

The Cougars jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the third minute and added another in the ninth to secure the victory early on. UMM led 5-0 at halftime and Morris outshot NCU 23-0 on the day.

The Rams will be back in action next weekend with a road game at The University of Northwestern (St. Paul, Minn.) on Friday before hosting those same Eagles in Coon Rapids on Saturday afternoon. Friday's match is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. with Saturday's match scheduled for Noon.
