MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-- North Central University continued their Upper Midwest Athletic Conference southern swing on Saturday night as they traveled to Mankato, MN losing to Bethany Lutheran College 3-0.

The Rams (4-15, 1-4) held tough early in set one as they trailed 9-10, but NCU eventually lost the set 25-18. In set two, NCU took an early lead as they led the Vikings (3-14, 2-2) 7-6. The lead didn't last long as Bethany Lutheran (Mankato, Minn) scored 17 of the next 21 points as they went on to win the set 25-13. The third set was controlled by the Vikings as they finished the sweep of North Central by winning the set 25-9.

The Rams were led by sophomore Jamie High (Buffalo, Minn./ Buffalo) as she recorded a team high six kills and nine digs. Sophomore Whitney Reames (Vassar, Mich./ Vassar) had a solid defensive effort with seven digs in the contest. 

North Central recorded 16 kills and 19 errors on 85 total attacks (-.035 pct) in the contest.

The Rams continue play on Friday as they host the University of Minnesota-Morris (Morris, Minn.) at 7pm.
