MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- The last match between the Martin Luther College Knights and Rams was a tight one, finishing with a 1-0 scoreline in favor of the Knights.

So this time around the Rams were looking for a different result. Unfortunately the Rams did not have there best today. The game was pretty much decided in the first 15 minutes, as the Knights offense tallied three goals in that time period.

All three goals were scored by Knights forward Aaron Markgraf, giving him a hatrick and taking any hope of a Rams victory away early.

The Rams were able to muster up a few chances on goal, but nothing that was able to be put into the back of the net.

The Knights added a fourth goal to top it off in the 62nd minute to give us the final score of 4-0 in favor of the visitors.

The Rams will continue to look for their first conference victory next weekend as they begin to round out their regular season schedule, on the road against Northland College and the College of St. Scholastica. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. on Friday in Ashland.
