MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-- Women's Soccer hosted their final two matches of the season on Friday and Saturday. Friday night the Rams fell 2-1 to Crown College before losing 1-0 on Saturday to Bethany Lutheran College.
Friday, the Rams played Crown College (St. Bonifacius, Minn.) to a 0-0 draw after the first 45 minutes. But a pair of goals from the Storm inside the first 15 minutes of the second half made it 2-0. NCU got a goal from junior Laura Leist (Menasha, Wis./Menasha) in the 66th minute on an assist from Shelby Norman (Winstead, Minn./Watertown-Mayer) but could not find the equalizer in a 2-1 loss.
On Saturday the Rams hosted Bethany Lutheran College (Mankato, Minn.) for their parents day match. Once again the Rams held their opponent to a 0-0 draw through 45 minutes. But less than ten minutes into the second half the Vikings scored the only goal they would need in a 1-0 victory.
North Central finishes their season 3-16 overall. Shelby Norman's assist on Friday moved her into 10th in points in Rams history. She is also tied for fifth all time in goals scored.
