Box Score MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-- North Central University Men's Soccer dropped their final two games of the season over the weekend. Friday the Rams were defeated by Crown College before being knocked off by Bethany Lutheran College on Parents day on Saturday evening.
The Rams took on Crown College (St. Bonifacius, Minn.) at home on Friday. They conceded a goal to the Storm in the 13th minute and trailed 1-0 at the half after being outshot 6-2 in the first 45 minutes. The Storm added goals around the 60th and 84th minute and took total control with a 10-0 shot advantage over the second period to complete a 3-0 win.
Saturday the Rams hosted Bethany Lutheran College (Mankato, Minn.) for their parents day match. Once again an fairly even half with each team posting 5 shots with the Vikings scoring in the 22nd minute to take a 1-0 lead into halftime. The second half was all Bethany Lutheran with the Vikings outshooting the Rams 14-2 and scoring three more goals to take a 4-0 victory.
Overall the Rams finished their season 1-16-1.
