Box Score MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-- North Central scored the first two field goals of the evening but that was as bright as it got for the Rams on Tuesday night. Bethel University cruised to a 90-33 win over North Central at home in Clark-Danielson Gymnasium.
The Rams led 4-0 about a minute into the game but Bethel University (Arden Hills, Minn.), fresh off their victory over a nationally ranked opponent on Monday, immediately responded to take control of the game.
The Royals led 57-15 at the break and out scored the Rams 33-18 in the final 20 minutes. Bethel used a press and trapped through out the game to grab 20 steals and force 31 Rams turnovers. NCU shot just 14-41 from the floor including 1-8 from the three point line.
Junior Jamie High (Buffalo, Minn./Buffalo) maintained her double-figure scoring and rebounding average by posting a team-high 12 points with a game high 12 boards. Senior Shelby Norman (Winsted, Minn./Watertown-Mayer) added 8 points while freshman Lizzy Swanson (Askov, Minn./East Central) added 6 points and 5 assists.
North Central returns to action on Friday when they host Faith Baptist Bible College (Ankeny, Iowa). The Rams and Eagles are set for 5:30 p.m. tip-off.
