Minneapolis, Minn.-- The North Central University Women's Tennis team dropped their match to Martin Luther College (New Ulm, Minn.) on Thursday night at the Baseline Center in Minneapolis, by a score of 0-9.
The Rams (0-8) number 1 doubles team of sophomore Nicole Demuth (Cold Spring, Minn./ Rocori) and sophomore Hope Carlson (Chippewa Falls, Wisc./ Lake Holcombe) played a highly competitive match against their Vikings (2-7) opponent as they were able to win five games before dropping the set 5-8.
Demuth continued her solid play as she won a combined 8 games during her two set match against her number one singles opponent from Martin Luther. The final score was 5-7, 3-6.
North Central Women's Tennis continues action this Saturday as they travel to the University of Minnesota Morris (Morris, Minn.) to take on the Cougars at 11:00 a.m.
