Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

MORRIS, Minn.-- North Central Women's Volleyball was on the road on Saturday for a pair of matches in a triangular event at The University of Minnesota-Morris. The Rams were swept 3-0 by both Waldorf College and the host Cougars in a match that served as the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference league game between the two schools.

North Central (10-16) struggled on offense in the first match against the University of Minnesota-Morris (Morris, Minn.) on Saturday. The Rams hit a negative attack percentage and managed just eight kills as a team in a 3-0 loss. Sophomore Maddie Saice (Apple Valley, Minn./Apple Valley) posted three of the Rams kills and led NCU with 3.5 points in the match.

Things improved for the Rams offense in the second match against Waldorf College (Forest City, Iowa) but not enough to produce a difference in the final score in another 3-0 loss. Sophomore Anna Larson (Apple Valley, Minn./Christian Life) bounced back from a tough first match to post 10 kills and 7 digs. Senior Whitney Reames (Vassar, Mich./Vassar) posted 11 digs to move within 4 of 1000 for North Central career.

The Rams will go back on the road for a conference match on Wednesday. They travel to Bethany Lutheran College (Mankato, Minn.) for a 7 p.m. match with the Vikings.
