DULUTH, Minn.-- Women's soccer fell behind early and could not mount a rally in a road loss to the College of St. Scholastica on Saturday afteroon. The Saints tallied three goals in the first 29 minutes, including a pair in the first 11 and North Central could not keep pace in a 7-1 defeat.
North Central (3-6, 1-4 UMAC) allowed goals in the sixth and eleventh minute to take charge of Saturday's Upper Midwest Athletic Conference game. They would add another in the 29th minute before the Rams were able to respond with their only score of the game in the 33rd. Junior Dakota Sparrman (Apple Valley, Minn./Shattock-St. Mary) made a great one on one move to score her 12th goal of the year on an assist from senior Laura Leist (Menasha, Wis.).
