Minneapolis, Minn.-- After a historic win to start the season Tuesday afternoon at Elliot Park, the high scoring Rams offense was out-matched by the Bethel University Royals, as North Central lost 8-2.

Junior Dakotah Sparrman (Apple Valley, Minn./U of Ark-Little Rock) continued her scoring ways as she netted her fifth and sixth goals of the season for the Rams. Sparrman first struck the back of the net in the 41st minute, to cut the Royals (1-0) lead to 5-1. She scored again in the 81st minute, this time off of a pass from junior Kate Nygren (Northfield, Minn./Northfield).

Bethel out shot the Lady Rams (1-1) by a total of 34-4, as sophomore goal keeper Heather Campbell (Brainerd, Minn./Brainerd) made 12 saves in the contest.

North Central returns to the field this Saturday as they travel to Watertown, Wisconsin to take on Marantha Baptist College. First-kick is at 1 p.m.
