MINNEAPOLIS, Minn - North Central University volleyball dropped a home Upper Midwest Athletic Conference match to Northland College. Northland took all three sets by scores of 25-20, 25-23, and 25-21.

IN THE BOX SCORE

Senior Katie Strand led the Rams offensively with seven kills. Ashley Kelzer and Emma Middendorf added six and five kills respectively. Maddie Stocker added 16 digs in the backrow for the Rams. Northland College was led by Camille Eastburn with 14 kills.

KEY MOMENTS

All three sets were very tight. In the second set, with the Rams down to set point, an attack from sophmore Emma Middendorf along with an attacking error from Northland brought the Rams within one point at 24-23 before a time out was called by Northland. Following the timeout a kill from Camille Eastburn gave the LumberJills the set.

The Rams will quickly put this loss in the rearview mirror as they are back in action tomorrow night, Wednesday Oct, 18th at home against St. Olaf College in a non-conference match in downtown Minneapolis. The match is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. in Clark Danielson Gymnasium.
