MILWAUKEE, Wisc - North Central University earned a non-conference win on the road in Milwaukee at Mount Mary University. The Rams swept all three sets by scores of 25-9, 25-18, 25-18.

IN THE BOX SCORE

NCU was lead offensively by Bethany Wollman with eight kills. Emma Middendorf added seven kills. Ashley Kelzer and Grace Hart added six and five kills respectively. Maddie Stocker recorded 20 digs in the backrow to go along with one ace. Grace Hart added five aces from serving as well.

KEY MOMENTS

The Rams jumped out to an early lead and carried momentum all the way through the first set. In the second and third sets Mount Mary was able to keep pace before NCU pulled away late in both sets. In the second set a nice 5-1 run in the middle of the set extended the lead for the Rams. In the third set, a kill from Emma Middendorf, and a service ace from Grace Hart gave the Rams a five point cushion late at 20-15 before sealing the set and match for the first 3-0 sweep victory for the Rams in 2017.
