Box Score 2 PELLA, Iowa – The North Central University baseball team traveled four hours south for a Saturday afternoon doubleheader against the Central College Dutch. The Rams could not find hits to produce much offense as they fell 11-0 and 14-1.
Game 2 started more favorably for North Central as they got one the board first. Sophomore Jared High had a leadoff single to begin the third inning. With the bases loaded, High scored the Rams only run when fellow sophomore Taylor Justice reached first base on an error by the left fielder. From there, NCU failed to tally any more runs as Central totaled 14 unanswered runs to conclude the afternoon.
Next up for North Central (1-10) is a doubleheader next Saturday, April 8, when the Rams open their home schedule versus Crown College.
