Rams Unable to Find Offensive Success

NEW ULM, Minn. - North Central University Women's Soccer (3-4, 0-3 UMAC) fell to Martin Luther College (3-1-2, 2-0-1) on Tuesday afternoon in a Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) matchup. Dakotah Sparrman (Apple Valley, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's) led the Rams offense with four shots. Emma Brekhus (Prior Lake, Minn./Prior Lake) also recorded three shots for the Rams. 

Martin Luther got on the board in the 28th minute on a cross from Haley Johnson that found its way to the back of the net just over Ellie Tieszen's (Stillwater, Minn./White Bear Lake) outstretched hand. The Knights doubled their lead two minutes into the second half and then added the third goal in the 71st minute of play. Martin Luther outshot North Central 22-14 held the advantage on corner kicks 6-2.

Up Next: The Rams will have a week off before returning to UMAC play against Crown College on Wednesday, Sept. 27. Kickoff is set for 3:15 p.m. in Elliot Park.
