Box Score 2 ASHLAND, Wisc. - North Central University volleyball fell twice in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference play on saturday. The Rams fell to Martin Luther College 3-0 and Northland College 3-1 in a UMAC triangular at Northland College.
In the first match against Martin Luther College the Rams played tight in all three sets with scores of 25-22, 25-17, and 25-18. Emma Middendorf led the way for the Rams with 8 kills and a .375 kill percentage. Maddie Stocker recorded 14 digs to anchor the Rams back row play.
In the nightcap against Northland College, NCU came out on top in the first set by a score of 25-15. The next three sets would go to Northland College by scores of 25-14, 25-16, and 25-19. Maddie Stocker recorded 21 digs and one service ace in the match against Northland.
NCU will be back in action in a UMAC triangular at home against Minnesota-Morris and the College of St. Scholastica on Wednesday, September 27th beginning at 3:00 p.m. in Clark Danielson gymnasium in downtown Minneapolis.
