CHICAGO – North Central University Men's soccer (2-3-1, 0-2-1 UMAC) earned a 2-0 win over fellow National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) member school Moody Bible Institute Archers (1-6-1) over the weekend on the road in Chicago, Illinois. The Rams outshot the Archers 13-9 and owned the advantage on corner kicks 6-1 en route to a dominant 2-0 victory. Kaleb Smith (Kijabe, Kenya/Rift Valley Academy) tallied three shots, three shots on goal, and scored the Rams second goal of the day led the Rams offense with help from Ian Brekhus (Prior Lake, Minn./Prior Lake) who tallied four shots for North Central.
Both teams came away from the first half without a goal but three minutes into the second half, Danny Williams (Coon Rapids, Minn./Spring Lake Park) got the Rams on the board. North Central held onto the 1-0 advantage until the 62nd minute when Kaleb Smith extended the Rams lead to 2-0.
