MINNETONKA, Minn - North Central University baseball captured a sweep in both games of a Upper Midwest Athletic Conference doubleheader. Game one went to the Rams 3-2 with game two going to the Rams 8-3.

• North Central won both games 3-2, 8-3.
• The wins put the Rams at a 2-0 mark in UMAC play and a 5-8 record overall for the 2018 season.

GAME 1 RECAP

• Taylor Justice went 2-for-5 at the plate
• Steven De Silva went 2-for-5 at the plate with 1 RBI
• Chris Harding went 2-for-5 at the plate with a RBI double in the top of the 8th to put the Rams up 3-2.
• Johnathon Kutzke started and went 4.0 innings with five strikeouts.
• Andrew Kemper earned the win (1-2) with 4.0 innings of relief with six strikeouts.
• Eli Valder earned the save with a scoreless inning in the bottom of the ninth.

GAME 2 RECAP

• NCU had 12 hits and 9 walks at the plate in game two.
• Cory Kukkola went 3-for-5 with 4 RBI and a two-run HR to deep left field in the top of the 3rd inning.
• Taylor Justice went 3-for-5 at the plate with one RBI and one run scored.
• Bryce Riege and Bob Donohoe each went 2-for-4 at the plate in game two.
• Blazsen Ferreira earned the win (2-1) after 6.0 innings of three-run ball with three strikeouts.
• Andrew Kemper threw 3.0 innings of scoreless relief in game two.
