MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- North Central University (NCU) has announced that
Colette Montgomery, current Head Women's Soccer Coach and Director of Soccer, will assume duties as the Head Men's Soccer coach beginning immediately.
Montgomery was hired as the Manager of Soccer in the spring of 2021, facilitating the day-to-day operations of both programs. Montgomery will now have the opportunity to continue those duties while adding the role of Head Coach to both clubs. Coach Montgomery will be the first woman as a head coach for a men's sport in the history of the University, as well as the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC).
The new Director of Soccer and Head Coach of both programs will be supported on campus by a full-time assistant coach who will assist in all areas of coaching and recruiting for both the men's and women's soccer programs.
