Dubuque, IA -- The North Central University men's and women's basketball teams will head down to Iowa this weekend (3/2-3/4) to compete in the
NCCAA North Regional Tournament hosted by Emmaus Bible College. Both teams will head into their respective North Region bracket as the #1 seed. If the Rams are able to come out as the victors, they will go on to play in the National Tournament the following week starting on Wednesday, March 8th, held in Joplin, Missouri.
For the men, their first game will take place on Thursday (3/2) at 1:30 PM versus the winner of the game between #8 Oak Hills Christian and #9 Maranatha Baptist University. If the Blue and Gold are able to tackle that matchup, they will take on the winner of #4 Providence University versus #5 Trinity Bible on Friday (3/3) at 3:00 PM. NCU will look to win both of those games to make it to the championship game that will take place this Saturday (3/4) at 5:00 PM.
On the women's side, the first matchup will be on Thursday (3/2) at 3:15 PM against the winner of the matchup between #8 Central Christian College of the Bible and #9 Maranatha Baptist University. If the Rams are able to win that game, they will move on to take on the winner of #4 Faith Baptist Bible College versus #5 Providence University College on Friday (3/3) at 1:00 PM. The Rams will look to win both of those games to lead them to the championship game taking place on Saturday (3/4) at 2:00 PM.
