Minneapolis, MN -- Earlier this fall, North Central University (NCU) Athletics hosted its third annual "Hour-A-Thon" fundraising event on Tuesday, September 9th, marking another milestone moment for the department. Hour-A-Thon is a nationwide fundraising initiative that empowers teams to raise money directly through personalized text messages and phone calls to family, friends, and supporters. On the evening of the event, NCU's student-athletes gathered across campus to connect with their donor networks, with each call helping fuel the continued growth of Rams Athletics.

This year's campaign generated a record-breaking total of $51,000, surpassing last year's $33,000 and over-doubling the $22,000 raised in 2022. Every dollar raised went directly to the participating sports programs, enhancing team budgets and providing resources for equipment, travel, and student-athlete development. The Rams' incredible success reflects both the passion of their athletic community and the generosity of NCU supporters who continue to invest in the student-athlete experience.
