Minneapolis, MN — Last night, the North Central University (NCU) Rocket League Team Gold faced off with William Peace University Pacers (WPU) in a best of 5 series match. Showing no signs of jet lag from their recent travels to Virginia for their LAN Tournament, the Rams showed out in an impressive 3-0 victory.
Game 1 (3-0 W)

Thomas "trippie_tom" Heimer showed up big the first game having one save and scoring 2 goals for the Rams

Micah "miciliux" Headley put up two assists and one goal in this opening game
Game 2 (4-1)
• Both Headley and
Ryan "maui" Mau scored 2 goals a piece with 11 combined shots on goal between the two of them
• Playing a little more loosely in their rotations, the team allowed one goal to the opposing Pacers
Game (3-1)
• Due to a fast start, WPU was able to open the game with the first goal
• It wasn't until the final minute of gameplay that Mau was able to respond to tie the game.
• Less than 10 seconds after tying the game, Heimer scored the series sweeping goal off an on goal assist from Headley
• Headley would seal the deal by scoring the final goal in the last second of regulation
