Minneapolis, MN -- North Central University (NCU) Rocket League was slated for two conference matches this past week. Fighting for playoff seeding, NCU took on Highland Community College in a competitive 3-1 defeat. In the second match of the night, the Rams rebounded in commanding fashion against Ferris State University winning 3-0. Both of Valorant's matches were forfeits, one for and one against the Rams.

Rocket League vs Highland Community College (3-1 Defeat) - FULL RESULTS

Game 1: NCU - 1   HCC - 3  |  Game 2: NCU - 4   HCC - 3  |  Game 3: NCU - 0   HCC - 1  |  Game 4: NCU - 4   HCC - 7

The Rams started slowly in Game 1, conceding two early goals before managing to respond with one of their own. However, Highland sealed the game with a third goal to take the early series lead. Game 2 saw a much stronger start from NCU, who scored straight off the kickoff and kept up the pressure. The Rams battled to keep the score level at 3-3 until the final 30 seconds, when they netted a clutch game-winner to even the series at 1-1. In Game 3, both teams locked into a defensive standoff. NCU held Highland scoreless for nearly four minutes, but a late goal from the Scotties proved to be the decider, giving them the edge in the series once again. With momentum slipping away, the Rams struggled in Game 4, falling behind early and unable to recover as Highland surged to a 7-4 victory. North Central dropped the series 1-3.
