Rocket League and Valorant Defeated in Week 2 Matchups

Minneapolis, MN -- North Central University (NCU) Rocket League and Valorant competed in week two of their spring seasons. In a matchup with William Peace University, Rocket League would find themselves outmatched as they lost 3-1. Valorant was unable to generate enough traction in their second match of the season as they faced off against the DePaul University academy black team, losing 2-0 and suffering their second loss of the year.

NCU struggled with rotations and was unable to capitalize off rebounds. Despite the loss, Andre "Drae" Muteba would still record 8 of the 11 goals scored by the Rams in this series. Josiah "Uso_Usagi" John would score 2 goals and provide 4 assists and Josh "TheCornDealer" Brown scored a single goal. NCU Rocket League plays again on Monday, February 17th against Oral Roberts JV.


Valorant vs DePaul University (2-0 Defeat) - FULL RESULTS

Game 1 - Bind: NCU - 1   DU - 13  |  Game 2 - Lotus: NCU - 2   DU - 13

While the Rams had strong openings on several rounds, the team's inexperience would show up in late-round situations.  NCU would fall to 13-1 on Bind and 13-2 on Lotus.  Despite the loss, team Captain Neiji "Mob Siab" Lee would provide the team with their first positive KDA on the second map. The Rams will face Rochester Institute of Technology's academy yellow team in their next matchup.
