Saint Peter, MN -- This afternoon, the Men's and Women's Track & Field teams from North Central University (NCU) competed in the Gustie Twilight, hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College. Today's meet was highlighted by 3 Rams punching their ticket to the 2025 NCCAA Nationals and 4 more NCU program records being broken. North Central also posted a total of 9 personal bests and 2 season bests.

Sprints:
Freshman
Catelyn Ketterling broke her own school record with a blazing time of 12.84 seconds in the 100m to take 4th place and also finished 4th overall in the 200m with a time of 27.00. Junior
Brycelyn Brewster continued her strong season with a 1st-place finish in the 400m, clocking a personal best and new program record time of 1:00.22. Senior
Savi Rael also had a strong showing, placing 8th in the same event with a season-best 1:05.54. Freshman
Ari Klein took 5th place in the 100m hurdles with a time of 17.11 seconds to qualify for the 2025 NCCAA National Championships.
Freshman
Zak Ruhland posted a personal-best 11.52 in the 100m to finish 9th overall. In the 200m, junior
Jaquan Adams claimed 1st place in 22.90 seconds, while freshman
Hunter Harris (23.51) and Ruhland (23.75, PR) also scored top-ten finishes. In the 400m, freshman
Josh Hinson took 5th place with a personal-best 51.96 seconds, while Adams followed in 6th with a time of 52.85 seconds.
Distance:
On the men's side, junior
Garrett Converse led the way in the 1500m, placing 3rd with a time of 4:29.51. Freshman
Leighton Helander followed, taking 8th in 4:50.21. In the 800m, sophomore
David Bjorge placed 2nd overall in 2:23.89.
Throws:
Junior
Jackie Lindsay threw 22.84m in the javelin, placing 4th overall.
Junior
Caleb Lundt placed 1st in the javelin throw with a toss of 44.31m, also qualifying him for this year's NCCAA Nationals. Freshman
Andre Muteba earned two top-ten finishes in the throws, placing 10th in the shot put (10.00m) and 8th in the hammer throw (35.47m). In the discus, Lundt recorded a personal-best 25.63m to take 11th, just ahead of Muteba (25.37m) and freshman
Colton Hagen (25.33m, PR).
Jumps:
Freshman
Lily Ciske jumped 10.22m in the triple jump to earn 4th place, set a new NCU record, and qualify for the NCCAA Nationals. Freshman Maren Nelson also competed in the triple jump, taking 8th with a mark of 8.99m. In the long jump, sophomore
Chloe Bjorlin finished 6th overall with a leap of 4.48m. Nelson also competed in the long jump, recording a mark of 3.78m.
Senior
Isaac Weiers cleared 2.04m in the high jump to take 1st place, setting a new meet record, program record, and now ranks 16th nationally in NCAA Division III this season. Freshman
Hunter Harris placed 3rd (1.90m), followed by senior
Nehemiah Juaire in 5th (1.80m, SB), and freshman
Zak Ruhland in 7th (1.75m).
Relays:
The women's 4x800m relay team of
Avah Kraushaar,
Jessica Redman,
Savi Rael, and
Brycelyn Brewster raced to a time of 10:27.98, setting a new meet record and finishing 2nd overall.
NCU's 4x100m relay squad, featuring
Nehemiah Juaire,
Jaquan Adams,
Zak Ruhland, and
Hunter Harris crossed the line in 44.23 seconds to earn a 3rd-place finish.
