St. Paul, MN -- The North Central University (NCU) men's and women's track & field teams concluded the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Outdoor Championships with a slate of accolades, highlighted by dominant performances, shattered records, and six student-athletes earning UMAC All-Conference recognition. These 11 total postseason awards mark the most UMAC awards earned in NCU Track & Field history.

Men's Track & Field Award Winners

Isaac Weiers (Senior | Neillsville, WI) capped off his collegiate career with a stellar performance in the high jump, clearing 2.01 meters to take second place at the UMAC Outdoor Championship Meet. His effort not only earned him All-Conference honors but broke the UMAC Championship meet record, underlining his legacy as one of the top jumpers in program history.

Josh Hinson (Freshman | Ellettsville, IN) made an electric UMAC Championship debut, claiming second place in the 400m dash with a time of 50.28 seconds. His finish broke both the NCU program record and the UMAC meet record, securing All-Conference recognition and setting the tone for a promising collegiate career.

Zak Ruhland (Sophomore | Minneapolis, MN) delivered a championship-caliber throw in the javelin, reaching a personal-best and NCU program record distance of 52.57 meters. His second-place finish came with the added distinction of a new UMAC meet record, marking him as one of the conference's elite throwers.

Women's Track & Field Award Winners

She followed that with a second-place finish in the 200m at 26.45 seconds (PR). In addition to her athletic success, Brewster was also recognized with the UMAC Sportsmanship Award, celebrating her leadership and integrity on and off the track.

She won the 100m hurdles in a personal best and program-record time of 15.63 seconds, then went on to secure first place in the triple jump with a mark of 10.77 meters. Horton also competed in the high jump, where she placed eighth (1.37m), showcasing her versatility and earning All-Conference honors for her exceptional championship performance. Horton was also named the UMAC Rookie of the Year.
