    Assistant Coach

Teagan Burch enters his first season as an assistant coach for the North Central University (NCU) baseball program in 2026. A proud NCU alumni and former standout catcher and utility player, Burch brings a combination of leadership, high-level playing experience, and deep commitment to the program’s mission and culture.

A native of St. Paul, Minnesota, Burch was a three-year player for the Rams after transferring from Crown College. During his time at NCU, he made a significant impact on and off the field. He was a two-time All-Conference selection and earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors once. Burch etched his name into the NCU record books, holding two single-season records (Hit-By-Pitch and Runs Scored) and two career records (Doubles and Runs Batted In).

In his senior season (2025), Burch batted .297 with 38 RBI's and 5 home runs, while helping lead the Rams through one of their most competitive stretches in recent program history. Known for his versatility, Burch played both catcher and multiple infield/outfield positions throughout his career, bringing a well-rounded baseball IQ to the coaching staff.

Off the field, Burch served as the Student-Athlete Leadership Council (SALC) Chair for two years and graduated with a degree in Sports Management from North Central University. His leadership, character, and passion for developing young athletes align perfectly with NCU’s mission of Christ-centered education and athletics.

Now stepping into the coaching ranks, Coach Burch is committed to mentoring the next generation of Rams, focusing on catcher development, hitting instruction, and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
