Carin Tuff is in her second year as Head Coach of the NCU Men’s and Women’s Tennis program. Prior to joining the Ram family, Tuff coached several years at Southwest Christian High School in Chaska, MN and Boulder Creek High School in Anthem, AZ.
In her first year as head coach, the Women’s Tennis team received the NCCAA Scholar Team Award. Tuff recently hired an assistant coach to continue the growth of this successful program.
In addition to coaching, Tuff is a Marketing and Branding Specialist for Halo Branded Solutions based in Sterling, IL. She also continues to play competitive singles and doubles USTA tennis at various clubs around the Twin Cities.
The Lakeville, MN native graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Global Business from Arizona State University. While living in AZ, Tuff owned Tuff Racquet Stringing and Sports and worked for Troon Golf. As a Lakeville Panther, Tuff played four years of high school varsity tennis.
In years past, Tuff has been a missionary to New Hope Children's Home in Jamaica and she attends River Valley Church-Crosstown location.
Carin is married to Paul, a Regional Manager for Columbia Pipe & Supply Co.. They have been married for 26 years, reside in Bloomington, MN and have three children; Kayla, William and NCU Sophomore Emma. Other than playing tennis, in her spare time she’s a fan of MN hockey and football, enjoys golf, reading and spending time with family.
