Clifford Geyer serves as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the North Central University (NCU) men’s and women’s track & field programs, bringing a strong background in strength & conditioning, football, and throws development.

Geyer joined the coaching ranks in June 2023, when he began coaching high school football at De Smet Jesuit High School, while also serving as the program’s Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach for football. His role emphasized athlete development through performance training, weight room supervision, and sport-specific preparation.

In addition to his work in football, Geyer expanded his coaching experience into track & field as the Assistant Track & Field Throws Coach at De Smet High School from February 2024 through May 2025, working closely with throwers in the shot put and discus. His coaching approach is grounded in technical progression, strength development, and competitive preparation.

Geyer further strengthened his resume at the collegiate level through a Strength & Conditioning Internship at South Dakota State University (SDSU) from August 2024 to December 2024, where he assisted with training sessions, athlete monitoring, and program implementation across multiple sports.

As a student-athlete, Geyer played collegiate football at Northern State University from 2019–2021. A native of San Antonio, Texas, Geyer attended TMI Episcopal, Lutheran Episcopal School, and Clark High School, graduating from Clark in 2019. He was also selected to compete in the San Antonio All-Star Football Game, recognizing his achievements on the field.

Geyer earned his Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management with a minor in Coaching from Northern State University, graduating in December 2024. Outside of coaching, Geyer enjoys spending time in the weight room, watching sports, listening to music, and making breakfast tacos. He is also an avid collector of wristbands, with a collection that continues to grow.

At North Central, Geyer contributes his diverse coaching background and passion for athlete development as he supports the continued growth and success of the Rams’ men’s and women’s track & field programs.
